Transient Bridge

This week’s theme is ‘transient’.

A few weeks ago I published an old photo in the WPC ‘order’ challenge of the The Old Dee Bridge in Chester in September 1980. This one is from 2010.

About the B4 retouch series:
I browsed my archive for pictures to publish. Some of them are partly retouched but most do have scratches, dust and stains.

England, Chester – July 2010

Shot with Nikon F90 on Kodak TriX, scanned from film and edited using  Snapseed andMarksta. Click the picture for a bigger version

Curve (Young Man River)

The weekly theme is ‘curves’.

A little river in The Netherlands, just being put back in its old bed following the new policy of ‘restoring nature’. Views change over time.

De Zijl (a River that used to be)

De Zijl once was a river. Because of water management the old rivers of The Netherlands/Holland mostly do not flow anymore, except the big rivers Meuse (Maas) and Rhine (Rijn) that still transport water from Germany and Belgium to the sea. Some shots from a bench, observing the water on a sunny Summer evening.

  • Weekly Photo Challenge /B4 Retouch: On Top (Mountain Range)

This week photo challenge is ‘on top’.

A mountain range near in the Himalaya in Tibet near Shannan, shot from the Yarlung Zhang Bo River.
The coming period I will publish more pictures of Tibet.
There is more than mountains there 🙂 living on top of the world.

    The B4 retouch series:
I browsed my archive for pictures to publish in – an originally – small series.
That series caught on a bit more than I thought.
All of them are not retouched yet.
Scratches, dust and stains are not removed.
