Elemental: Water (Chatsworth)

This weekly theme is ‘elemental’.

This is one of the most known old country manors of England: Chatsworth House in Derbyshire, from the top of the Cascade.

About the B4 retouch series:
I browsed my archive for pictures to publish. Some of them are partly retouched but most do have scratches, dust and stains.

Weekly Photo Challenge: Refractions (Chatsworth House)

This weekly photo challenge is about ‘refraction’. Photography is painting with available or manipulated light. Light is one of the most welcome instruments when looking through a camera. Sometimes it bends, sometimes it contrasts and stands out to a part of a photo. Sometimes it just evenly shows what is there to marvel.

This is one of the most known old country manors of England: Chatsworth House in Derbyshire. A few weeks ago I entered a monochrome version into the Monochrome Madness 31 and as always I published a bigger copy on my own blog that week. It is the view from the top of the Cascade.
Water is so much fun to play with, not only to get wet but also to take  unique photographs.

Monochrome Madness
Leanne Cole is an Australian photographer; each week she organizes a ‘monochrome madness’.
