WPC: Alphabet (In Memory)

The theme this week  is alphabet. Play with letters in a photo. Letters are in a lot of places. Sometimes they turn into words and in a certain context they make sense. This is a small graveyard in Sommant in the national park Morvan in France. The letters on the epitaph form the names of the loved ones that passed away in the past. Some other mementos keep their history and stories alive by remembering for the living.

About the B4 retouch series
I browsed my archive for pictures to publish in – an originally – small series. That series caught on a bit more than I thought.
All of them are not retouched yet. Scratches, dust and stains are not removed.

France, ……… – July 1998

Shot with Nikon F90 on Kodak TriX, scanned from film and edited using Snapseed and Marksta
