Picture of the Day: Ireland Knocknarea

Ireland reminds me of Holland; in both countries the horizon is very present in the landscape. In Holland the horizon is always visible, low and straight. Thus giving a great view on the clouds and sky. In Ireland the horizon is more playful and ‘dented’ but the skies and clouds always play a major part in the ‘framing’ of the scenery. Especially when the sun does come in shining its rays.

Picture of the Day: Croagh Patrick

A view from a mountain. The Croagh Patrick is a place where Roman Catholics from all over the world walk in the footsteps of Saint Patrick. Climbing the mountain – regardless of the personal believe or persuasion - is a journey inside, a path of personal growth. Here is a view on the way down when one can focus on the horizion instead of the mountain.
