Picture of the Day: Karpathos III

As  I said earlier: lots of churches. This one is fitting the cliche format: blue, white, blue sky and a bit of green of a tree.

Testing a camera: les Fenetres de Luc-en-Diois

In May 1993 I bought my first ’semi professional’ camera. A Nikon F90.  The cameras I used before this one lacked accuracy: what I saw while taking the picture was not always the same as the result that ended up on film! Most of the time there was more on film, so it was not that bad. The Nikon F90 however claimed that ‘what you see is what you get’. So I had to try it: this is the picture I took in a small town in Diois, part of the Drome. And yes: Nikon’s claim was true!
