Weekly Travel Theme: Up!
This is the closest I ever got to the Eiffel Tower in Paris.
I still hope to get on it one day, it is on my list of sights to see in Paris.
Being lazy I did not try to find a place where I could frame the whole tower in one shot.
So I shot four separate ones and stitched them together.
The blog ‘Where is my backpack’ organizes a weekly travel theme.
This week it is ‘up‘. I still have to get up there
Originally shot with Pentax ME Super on Kodak TriX, scanned and tweaked using Snapseed

Great photo, and great idea to stitch your shots together!
Well it was just me being lazy actually. Putting it in a album as prints I stitched them. Working digital makes that much easier! If I would have had a wide angle I would have used it for sure
I only had a 50 mm standard. Ty for your comment!
Great angle. It really conveys the height of the tower.
Thank you! Using a standard 50 mm did give this result. I like the way it worked out!
Great job, Chris.
Thank you for your kind words!

I really like the way you have edited this.
Thank you! I just had four pictures and used an App to stitch them. The gave the a run in Snapseed. I am happy you like the result!
Yes, I had seen that you did the stitching. That is something that I haven’t tried. It creates a nice effect for this photo.
In this picture it adds something to it, I agree.
Great shot! Pentax ME Super was my first real camera!
Thank you! It was my second one till the shutter broke down a few times and I switched to Nikon
